Job Title: El1 Director of Stakeholder Engagement

 

The Australian Government is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of El1 Director of Stakeholder Engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and representing the organization in various forums.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sound decision making: Based on data, public submissions, and market impacts, develop policies that meet the needs of stakeholders.
  • Project management: Oversee the development of key projects with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and effective outcomes.
  • Liaising with stakeholders: Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Complex issue communication: Communicate complex issues verbally and in writing to various audiences.

 

Essential Criteria include:

  • Providing direction: Regarding data scope, analysis, and visualisation for policy reports.
  • Negotiation skills: Negotiating effectively by listening to differing views and presenting persuasive responses.
  • Communication: Communicating complex issues to influence decision-makers in writing and verbally.
  • Evidence-based pricing decisions: Articulating evidence-based pricing decisions for NDIS participants and providers.
  • Strategic direction: Developing and implementing the strategic direction of the work area.
  • Project management: Project managing external consultants by determining research scope and ensuring outputs align to the organization's pricing strategy.

 

Eligibility: The successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen.
