Assistant Director, Engagement

**Showcase your expertise in engagement strategy development and delivery of engagement program in this EL1 Assistant Director, Engagement role where you will identify, prepare, and manage the overall engagement workplan of a taskforce**.
You will be part of a small team working collaboratively to deliver on reform commitments and genuine deliberative engagement. You will coordinate across multiple teams in a similar space on similar issues with the same key stakeholders.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to the work of the taskforce through policy and program activities and provide wide-ranging advice.
**Knowledge and Experience**
- Understanding of engagement strategy and delivery principles
- Knowledge of and compliance with government processes and decision-making
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels in relation to taskforce objectives
- Ability to identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations
- Strong organisational ability and the ability to maintain attention to detail in a busy environment
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage workflow and resources
- Can do attitude with a strong desire to deliver outcomes
- Ability to work independently with reasonable autonomy and accountability
- Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a baseline clearance
