Financial Support Professional Needed

The APS4 Finance Support Officer will work closely with the Financial Operations team to provide financial administrative support.

You will be responsible for processing requests relating to invoice payable/receivable and travel allowances, including corporate credit card administration and reconciliation.

To effectively support ACIC outcomes, tasks are carried out in accordance with ACIC policies and procedures governed by the Public Governance Performance and Accountability Act 2013.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver efficient financial services including accounts payable/receivable, travel, and credit card services
  • Perform financial reconciliations and analysis for corporate credit cards banking or budget against actual expenditure
  • Operate in accordance with internal policies and procedures
  • Provide financial advice to stakeholders
  • Support administrative tasks as required

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and analytical ability
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and deliver stakeholder advice
  • Relevant experience in government financial processes, financial applications software, administrative tasks, and/or contract management highly regarded

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Citizenship: Applicants must be Australian citizens
  • Security Clearance: Successful applicants will require a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance
  • Pre-Employment Screening: All candidates must satisfy an Organisational Suitability Assessment prior to employment
