Seeking a highly skilled Examinations Coordinator to join our team.

Job Description

As an Examinations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the coordination and delivery of examinations. Your primary responsibilities will include managing timelines, processes, communications, and documentation to ensure a high standard of service delivery.

You will also provide secretariat support to examination committees and examiner panels, including preparation of agendas and briefs, organizing and attending meetings, producing minutes, drafting reports and correspondence, and supporting the implementation of committee decisions, policies, and procedures.

In addition, you will arrange calibration/training sessions and provide support to committees, panels, examiners, local examination organizers, hospital administrative staff, and other external stakeholders involved in the conducting of Divisional assessments.

Furthermore, you will maintain records of candidate details, applications, and results to ensure accuracy and reliability of information.

Finally, you will manage candidate withdrawals, special considerations, and other requests as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant qualification or equivalent combination of training and/or experience in administration is essential.
  • Previous experience in an administrative support role in a busy, complex, customer-focused environment is also required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives are necessary.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and high workloads without compromising quality and standards are essential.
  • A commitment to professional and ethical client service is required.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, including proofreading skills, is also necessary.
  • Proven initiative and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to deal with sensitive issues and enquiries, and to manage confidentiality, are essential.
