National Account Manager

As a commercially astute National Account Manager, you will drive growth and execute strategic plans to deliver outstanding customer engagement across major accounts. With strong commercial and analytical skills, you will thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

The role involves driving sales growth and achieving budgeted targets for the retail portfolio. You will utilise category insights, demand planning, and data analytics to identify growth opportunities. This includes developing and executing strategic plans, including promotional and marketing initiatives, to increase brand visibility and sales.

You will also be responsible for negotiating and managing trading terms as part of annual strategic planning. Conducting performance reviews with key accounts, analysing trends, and adjusting strategies accordingly is another key aspect of the role. Overseeing trade spend budgets and promotional programs to maximise financial performance is also a critical responsibility.

The ideal candidate has proven sales expertise, with a strong track record in selling, negotiating, and using data-driven insights to develop tailored customer plans that deliver mutual growth and meet both company and customer objectives. The following qualifications are required:

  • A degree in Commerce or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in Key Account Management across both offline and online specialist retail channels.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with tools like Power BI.
