Job Overview

This is a great opportunity for skilled dental assistants to join our team and make a real impact in providing exceptional patient experiences.

  • Support and assist experienced dental clinicians in delivering high-quality oral health services to patients
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of our dental practice by undertaking administrative tasks, including filing, managing electronic patient databases, scheduling appointments, wait list management, and maintaining stock levels
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of oral health promotion activities that benefit the community

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent experience, with a Certificate IV in Dental Assisting required for appointment at Grade 2
  • A Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or demonstrated capacity and commitment to working towards achieving this qualification
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with adults, children, and other healthcare professionals
  • Demonstrated expertise in infection control, instrument reprocessing, and dental assisting
  • The ability to plan your work, manage priorities, use initiative, and solve problems effectively
  • Prompt and accurate computer skills for communication and use of dental patient administration systems (e.g., Titanium)
  • A valid Class C driver's license with the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes
