About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SEO Specialist to join our Digital Team at Accent Group Limited. As a key member of our team, you will assist the Group SEO Manager in developing and implementing SEO strategies across all Accent Group eCommerce sites.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and train the SEO Admin Assistant, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality SEO work.
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits, providing actionable insights to website owners and inputting into templates.
- Collaborate with the eCommerce team and Digital Delivery teams to ensure seamless website migrations and platform upgrades.
- Perform internal linking audits and stay up-to-date with Google algorithm updates, monitoring their impact on our brands.
- Conduct regular keyword research and manage Local SEO tactics, including Google My Business, Apple Maps, and Bing Places profiles.
- Develop targeted and unique meta-data and assist with content mapping and planning.
- Measure keyword ranking impacts and offer actionable insights, conducting On-page SEO audits to optimize copy and landing pages.
- Perform competitor and sector analysis, backlink audits, and research competitor backlink activity.
- Assist with strategic digital PR campaigns and report to stakeholders and senior leaders in the business.
- Work with the eComm team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented and assist stakeholders/team members with SEO-centric questions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in eCommerce SEO or a related agency environment.
- Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Python, or CSS is preferred but not essential.
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional environment, with strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to work through ambiguity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
