About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UX designer to lead the UI/UX design for digital solutions in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human-centred design and be able to create engaging and inclusive digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the UI/UX design for digital solutions in an Agile environment.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, users, subject matter experts and technical teams to create exceptional user experiences.
  • Facilitate usability evaluations to ensure designs are simple, intuitive and accessible.
  • Coach and mentor junior UX designers and help uplift the team's capability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading UI/UX design for digital products and services.
  • Proven experience developing design systems using Figma, employing atomic design principles for reusable components that ensure consistency across digital products.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, to create wireframes, high-fidelity mock ups and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in leading collaborative design workshops to generate innovative solutions and align cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and recommendations and influence a wide range of audiences.
  • Highly developed collaborative leadership skills and ability to mentor junior UX designers.
  • Accessibility and Inclusive Design Knowledge, experience working with WCAG 2.2.
