About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sales and Event Manager to join our team. As the main contact for weddings and social events, you will be responsible for securing and managing all Weddings, Social and Charity events from potential clients. You will also assist with corporate bookings as needed. Your goal will be to create memorable experiences for every client while efficiently managing events to run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively quote, contract, and manage the end-to-end planning of Weddings, Social and Charity events ensuring seamless five-star service from initial enquiry to post-event follow-up.
  • Identify new business opportunities for Weddings, Social and Charity Events.
  • Prospect and receive enquiries for Weddings, Social and Corporate from direct, third-party, over the phone, website, and email.
  • Prepare quotes as per client request and proactively follow up to maximize conversion.
Requirements
  • Experience in the Wedding market – sales and event management.
  • Aptitude and willingness to undertake further development.
  • Understanding of sales process.
  • Prior experience in Food & Beverage, Conference & Event Administration & Management, Reservations, Front Office Sales, Financial Accounts.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Confident decision-maker.
  • Proficient research skills.
  • Delphi and Opera proficiency.
  • Professional self-presentation.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
