Job Overview:

This Clinical Nurse Specialist Education position provides an opportunity to contribute to nursing education across multiple facilities in the district.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement clinical education programs to support ongoing professional development of nursing staff.
  • Partner with the Nursing and Midwifery Education team to deliver on key strategic education initiatives.
  • Provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care to patients.

About the Role:

This role is based in Broken Hill and involves working across multiple facilities within the district. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical education programs, providing patients with safe and compassionate care, and partnering with the Nursing and Midwifery Education team.

Selection Criteria:

  • Current Authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Current Certificate as a Workplace Trainer and Assessor or willingness to work towards certification.
  • Credentialed in FLECC or willingness to attain within 24 months.
  • Demonstrated three years experience providing clinical teaching and education using adult learning principles and facilitation skills.
  • Eligibility to drive in NSW and preparedness to travel long distances.
