The Opportunity

In this position, you will be responsible for leading educational programs, supervising teachers and making decisions on program outcomes.

  • Leading designated educational programs
  • Supervising teachers engaged in these programs
  • Making decisions on program outcomes and addressing areas of concern through appropriate interventions

You will regularly communicate with stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the programs. You will also organize program activities including resources, transport, operations, staff etc.

You must keep abreast of best practice in your area of expertise through ongoing professional reading and research.

You will supervise the quality of staff within the Program through collegial support, advice, observation and facilitation of reflective response to issues.

You will contribute to the leadership of the school through active participation in staff and middle leadership meetings.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

  • Create a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with curriculum standards
  • Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs
  • Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences

Please note that you do not need to be Catholic for this position.

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers
