About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is for a Data Centre Construction and Fitout Project Manager to join our team and lead the delivery of a high-profile project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Job Description- Project Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the project team to achieve project objectives.
- Client Representation: Act as the primary point of contact for all client-side matters, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Scope and Schedule Management: Develop and manage a comprehensive project scope document (PSD) and detailed project schedule, identifying and mitigating risks that could impact timelines.
- Budget Control: Maintain a strict budget and track all project expenditures, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
- Contract Administration: Oversee all construction and fitout contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC): Implement a robust QA/QC program to guarantee the project meets industry standards and best practices.
- Communication and Reporting: Maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and updates.
- Experience: 5-10+ years' relevant experience in large-scale Greenfield / Brownfield projects in the Data Centre industry (or similar highly serviced asset class) across the entire project lifecycle.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher [e.g. Project Management/ Engineering/ Architect/ Building Construction/Quantity Surveying, etc.]; or Diploma with 10 years or greater trade experience of which >5 years should be in a management position [e.g. Electrician, Building Controls, etc.].
- Skills and Abilities: Deliver an exciting team vision, confront and eliminate challenges, trust and respect others, promote inclusivity, provide guidance and motivation, actively listen, and lead by example.
We offer a competitive salary range of £70,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a performance-related bonus, pension scheme, and flexible working arrangements.
