Behavioural Support Practitioner Role

This is a full-time position based in Hurstville.

The role involves collaborating with allied health professionals to provide tailored support to clients with various intellectual and psychosocial disabilities.

  • Develop functional behavioural assessments and behaviour analysis support plans.
  • Liaise with clients, hospital and community staff, carers/family members, relevant agencies, and government departments as appropriate.
  • Provide direct behavioural interventions in group and individual settings.
  • Utilize behavioural, psychological, and evidence-based theories to develop and implement program designs and interventions.
  • Build and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with people of all abilities and cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
  • A current NSW driver's licence and willingness/ability to travel to clients.
