Job Description:

We are seeking a senior professional to lead our strategic engagement efforts. As a director, you will provide high-level direction and technical leadership to drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a communication strategy, preparing advice on emerging stakeholder issues, and leading the development of a community of practice related to child safety standards.

The successful candidate will have excellent engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with government and non-government stakeholders.

You will also be responsible for overseeing education activities and presentations, providing advice on effective engagement techniques, and evaluating the effectiveness of engagement activities.

Duties:

  • Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement a communication strategy to address emerging stakeholder issues.
  • Lead the development of a community of practice related to child safety standards.
  • Engage with government and non-government stakeholders to promote the functions of the Office.
  • Oversee education activities and presentations to promote the operations of the Office.
  • Provide advice on effective engagement techniques and practices.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of engagement activities.

Essential Requirements:

  • A current registration to work with vulnerable people.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • A current driver's license.
