ERP Finance Business Readiness Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled ERP finance business readiness expert to drive the design, build, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA payroll finance solutions using the SAP Activate methodology.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of core finance processes, including General Ledger, Actuals, Planning, and Budgeting cycles, as well as experience in stakeholder engagement and management across finance, treasury, and IT functions.

  • Proven ability in supporting change impact assessments for large-scale ERP programs in corporate finance or treasury contexts.
  • Strong capability in benefits and outcomes traceability, linking business objectives through process change to detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully engaging with vendors and working collaboratively with key client stakeholders/representatives and internal ICT support and operational personnel.

As an ERP finance business readiness expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and building comprehensive SAP S/4HANA payroll finance solutions.
  • Developing and implementing change management strategies to ensure seamless adoption of new finance processes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to clients on SAP S/4HANA finance functionality.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience supporting change impact assessments for large-scale ERP programs in corporate finance or treasury contexts.
  • Proven ability in stakeholder engagement and management, particularly across finance, treasury, and IT functions in complex, matrixed organisations.
  • Solid understanding of core finance processes, including General Ledger, Actuals, Planning, and Budgeting cycles.
  • Exposure to or knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or SAP BPC – desirable but not essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable recommendations.
