We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of people and property across Queensland.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency incidents, including fires and other hazardous situations, in a safe and effective manner.
- Participate in regular drills and training sessions to maintain and develop your skills and competencies.
- Contribute to community education and awareness activities to promote fire safety and emergency preparedness.
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of station facilities and equipment.
- Australian Permanent Resident Status.
- Manual C Class driver's licence.
- Ability to commit to attending 50% of emergency incidents as a day worker or 30% as a shift worker.
- Ability to attend 75% of regular drill and training sessions.
