We are seeking an experienced Project Buyer with a strong purchasing background to support our business unit in Australia.
This role involves managing subcontract and supply agreements, executing project sourcing plans, and leading contractual negotiations with suppliers.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective contract and supplier management.
- Manage and administer subcontract and supply agreements across assigned projects.
- Execute project sourcing plans in compliance with budget, schedule, and contractual requirements.
- Lead contractual negotiations with suppliers, ensuring appropriate risk allocation and alignment with main contract provisions.
- Monitor supplier performance and contractual obligations, including handling variations and claims.
Key skills required include 3 years of experience in Purchasing or Contract Administration, strong negotiation and contract management skills, and proficiency in English and SAP systems.
Preferred qualifications also include familiarity with Australian procurement regulations or willingness to learn, and experience working with Italian companies is a plus.
Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset with attention to detail, excellent communication and team working skills, and be able to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
This role requires enthusiasm and proactivity in managing complex projects and cross-functional collaboration, as well as the ability to travel frequently to Italy.
Requirements:- Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in Purchasing or Contract Administration, ideally in project-driven or multinational environments.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
