Job Summary:

Promoting indigenous partnerships for conservation is a key priority in our organization.

  • This role will support the joint management of the Nanda conservation estate in collaboration with traditional owners.
  • The successful candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills, with experience in liaison and stakeholder engagement.
  • They will be able to work independently in remote locations and demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and initiative.

Main Responsibilities:
  • SUPPORT THE JOINT MANAGEMENT OF THE NANDA CONSERVATION ESTATE BY WORKING CLOSELY WITH TRADITIONAL OWNERS
  • ENSURE EFFECTIVE STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT FOR NANDA JOINT MANAGEMENT BY PROMOTING A SHARED UNDERSTANDING ON COUNTRY AND IN THE NANDA COMMUNITY
  • LEAD THE PLANNING AND DELIVERY OF OPERATIONS ON COUNTRY HAVING REGARD FOR A RESPECTFUL APPRECIATION OF CULTURAL VALUES AND EXPECTATIONS AS GUIDED BY OUR PARTNERS
