Project Manager - Water and Gas Utility Infrastructure

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee water and gas utility infrastructure projects throughout Northeastern Ohio. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong understanding of utility infrastructure projects, who enjoys coordinating with municipalities and driving field work forward.

The work will focus on capital replacement and upgrade efforts, primarily involving water and gas line replacements in coordination with local municipalities. The successful candidate will have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, while ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the permitting process and municipal procedures
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, municipalities, and internal teams to ensure project continuity
  • Conduct site visits within the region to monitor project progress
  • Collaborate with design teams and review engineering packages (AutoCAD familiarity preferred)
  • Track project timelines, budgets, and client expectations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • 2–6 years of experience in water, gas, or electric utility projects
  • Familiarity with municipal permitting processes and basic project management principles
  • Strong communication skills, especially in client and municipal coordination
