Position: Vehicle Technician After Sales

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to enhance our client's esteemed automotive enterprise. The selected individual will participate in an engaging residential induction program during their initial days with the company.

Job Objective:
To uphold excellence in customer service. To provide expert technical guidance and perform vehicle assessments to deliver diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services, adhering to approved technical protocols to ensure vehicles operate at peak performance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional levels of technical support, service, and maintenance for all customers regarding Ford and other vehicle brands.
  • Operate within the established guidelines set forth by legislation, the organization, manufacturers, and associated suppliers.
  • Support Senior and Master Technicians while engaging in prescribed learning and development opportunities.
  • Maintain thorough records promptly and accurately.
  • Foster a collaborative environment for all team members in alignment with the company's Purpose, Principles, and Ambition (PPA).
  • Commit to continuous professional development.
  • Deliver all services in the most efficient manner possible.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • ATA accreditation, along with a fully qualified City & Guilds or NVQ certification.
  • Proven ability to manage processes, documentation, and administrative tasks.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to mentor, support, and guide colleagues and junior staff members.
  • Valid driving license held for a minimum of 6 months with fewer than 9 penalty points.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Desirable:

  • Demonstrated expertise and recognition as a qualified Vehicle Service Repair Technician.
  • Understanding of both customer and company needs, reflected in work performance.
  • Ability to take initiative in all aspects of the role, working independently.
  • Exhibits resilience, self-motivation, and dedication to personal growth.
