About the Role


This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our progressive Child and Youth Mental Health Service in tropical North Queensland.


As a specialist, you will be providing advanced standard clinical care to children and young people with mental disorders, including those being treated under the Mental Health Act (2016).


Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Assessment and treatment services to children and young people up to 18 years old;
  • Providing services to rural communities;
  • Supporting the Child and Adolescent Court Liaison Forensic Mental Health Service;
  • Supervising and teaching junior medical staff and medical students;
  • Clinical governance activities;
  • Participating in the after-hours on-call roster, providing services across the full age range.

About the Location

Salary Package


We offer an attractive salary package of $350,000 - $500,000 per annum, plus a generous relocation allowance. This comprehensive remuneration package reflects our commitment to attracting and retaining exceptional professionals like yourself.
