About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team in Mackay, Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality client-centred mental health assessment, treatment, and/or case coordination services in an integrated, stepped care model of service delivery.

About the Organisation

The organisation provides allied health, home and community support, mental health and wellbeing services throughout rural, regional, and remote Queensland. Their goal is to assist in improving the physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of the clients they work with.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality client-centred mental health assessment, treatment, and/or case coordination services;
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health services;
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans to address the mental health needs of clients;
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery;
  • Provide education and support to clients, their families, and carers to promote mental health and wellbeing.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will possess a relevant degree in a field such as psychology, nursing, or social work, and have experience working in a mental health setting. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
