Postgraduate Research Scholarships

The Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics offers two three-year postgraduate research scholarships to domestic applicants.

We seek candidates with strong academic backgrounds and a passion for applied philosophy. Our research areas include:

  • Applied philosophy of political violence
  • Biotechnology ethics
  • Information technology ethics
  • Nanotechnology ethics
  • Criminal justice ethics
  • Business and professional ethics
  • Environmental ethics
  • Global justice

The scholarships cover the full cost of tuition fees and provide an annual stipend of $23,728.

To be eligible, applicants must have completed a Bachelor's degree with first-class honours or hold equivalent qualifications.

Applicants are expected to submit a research proposal outlining their project goals and objectives.
