About Our Team

The Integrity and Professional Standards Branch is responsible for the design and implementation of the department's Professional Standards and Integrity Framework. We undertake this work to promote and secure the integrity of the department, including its people, property, systems, and information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and drive the development and implementation of activities aligned with the Integrity Culture Strategy.
  • Explore opportunities to increase and support a positive workplace integrity culture by tapping into departmental programs to provide guidance.
  • Contribute to strategies that measure the success and effectiveness of the Integrity Framework and Integrity Culture Strategy.
  • Respond to ad-hoc queries for policy advice on the Integrity Framework.
  • Work cooperatively with other sections within the Branch to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement of the integrity and professional standards regime.
  • Comply with all integrity, Workplace Health and Safety, and corporate requirements, including PDAs.
Requirements
  • Obtain and maintain a Home Affairs Onboarding Check.
  • Obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline security clearance (or the ability to obtain a minimum Baseline security clearance prior to engagement with the department) and be willing to upgrade if required.
  • Maintain the highest levels of ethics and accountability to ensure the professionalism of I&PS Branch.
