About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at McCormick, a leading food manufacturing site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled repairs and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical machinery breakdowns effectively, minimizing downtime and ensuring production continuity.
  • Conduct repairs, replacements, and maintenance as required, adhering to Safe Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking and managing maintenance tasks, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement Continuous Improvement (CI) Initiatives, driving process improvements and enhancing overall efficiency.
About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Maintenance Electrician who is passionate about delivering high-quality results and contributing to a dynamic team environment. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A trade qualification in electrical engineering and relevant certifications.
  • Experience with CMMS and a strong understanding of production machine operation within the FMCG industry.
  • Advanced trouble-shooting skills for mechanical machinery and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
