Job Title: Maintenance Electrician - FMCG Industry

Visy Plastics is a leading manufacturer of sustainable plastic packaging solutions for the food and beverage industry. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our Moorabbin facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production.
  • Install and commission new electrical systems and equipment, including PLCs and motor controls.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure effective plant operations and maintenance.
  • Enter and manage maintenance notifications in our SAP system.
Requirements:
  • Recognized VIC Electrical license and relevant trade qualifications or experience.
  • Significant experience in an industrial environment, preferably in manufacturing with a background in fault finding PLCs and motor controls.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to safety and quality.
