We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at McCormick, a leading food manufacturing site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled repairs and maintenance of plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical machinery breakdowns effectively.
- Conduct repairs, replacements, and maintenance as required.
- Adhere to Safe Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking and managing maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team to implement Continuous Improvement (CI) Initiatives.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Maintenance Electrician who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and contributing to a dynamic team environment. Key requirements include:
- A trade qualified electrician holding the relevant certifications.
- Experience with CMMS.
- Advanced understanding of production machine operation within FMCG.
- Strong trouble shooting skills for mechanical machinery.
- Exposure to Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
