Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Residential Care Manager. This role provides an opportunity to apply your knowledge and management experience to a senior position within our organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective leadership of a facility, ensuring culture, processes and practices are in accordance with organisational strategies and policies, and ensuring residents are well cared for in a caring environment.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake overall responsibility of operations of the home to deliver high quality services to residents and their families
  • Create a positive work culture for staff through effective leadership and HR management
  • Management of finances and budgets
  • Ensure Quality planning, implementation and evaluation
  • Promote an interactive WHS system to ensure optimum health and wellbeing of staff
Requirements
  • A high level of business acumen including strong financial management experience
  • Leadership skills and ability to delegate
  • Aged Care experience highly desirable
  • Previous management experience of diverse teams
  • Knowledge of ACFI, the Aged Care Act, WHS, accreditation and continuous improvement
  • PASSION FOR AGED CARE
  • A commitment to Christian Values
  • Clinical background as RN or related discipline is highly desirable
  • Current AHPRA nursing registration desirable
