Opportunity in Cardiac Imaging and General Cardiology

We are seeking a post-FRACP cardiologist or an eligible overseas-trained cardiologist to fill this unique opportunity.

  • Gain experience and broad exposure in Cardiac Imaging and General Cardiology in a regional centre across the public and private sector.
  • General cardiology responsibilities will include acute, inpatient, and outpatient care, as well as high-volume echocardiography including transthoracic, stress, and transoesophageal echocardiography.
  • The role offers the opportunity to advance your skills and reporting to independently practice to CSANZ standards, with the potential for progression towards Level A ANZCTCA certification.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality general cardiology services, including acute, inpatient, and outpatient care.
  • Conduct high-volume echocardiography procedures, including transthoracic, stress, and transoesophageal echocardiography.
  • Develop and maintain advanced skills and reporting capabilities to independently practice to CSANZ standards.
  • Potentially progress towards Level A ANZCTCA certification.
Requirements:
  • Post-FRACP cardiologist or eligible overseas-trained cardiologist with relevant qualifications and experience.
  • Ability to work in a busy inpatient and outpatient service with rapid turnaround reporting.
  • Familiarity with clinical input into decision making in a close-knit multi-specialty hospital environment.
