Exciting opportunities exist for an experienced cardiologist to join our healthcare team as a junior consultant in cardiac imaging. This role will provide broad exposure to cardiac imaging and general cardiology, with a focus on echocardiography including transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), exercise stress echo, dobutamine stress echo, transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE) and contrast echocardiography.

The position is based in a busy inpatient and outpatient service, where you will work closely with other specialists to provide rapid turnaround reporting and clinical input into decision making. The location offers an enviable lifestyle in coastal Queensland, with excellent work-life balance and opportunities for professional growth and development.

To be successful in this role, you will have completed general cardiology training and fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or been assessed by the RACP as substantially comparable for overseas-trained cardiologists. You will also have experience in CTCA and progression towards Level A ANZCTCA certification. This is an exciting opportunity for a post-FRACP cardiologist or eligible overseas-trained cardiologist seeking experience in the Australian healthcare system.
