Assistant Manager Job Description

The Assistant Manager is a vital role in the store's leadership structure, responsible for driving sales targets, maximising KPI goals, and delivering exceptional customer service.

This role involves leading and working alongside the sales team to identify and exceed sales opportunities and targets. The ideal candidate will have strong coaching and leadership skills, with experience at a Supervisor/Assistant Manager level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve high standards and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to improve their performance and skills
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Manage customer appointments, including corporate clients and wedding parties, and manage customer feedback with the Store Manager

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate others to achieve high standards
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills
  • Commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • Stock management and loss prevention experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and systems
  • Strong relationship building skills and stakeholder/customer management
