Job Description:

As a seasoned data governance expert, you will play a pivotal role in steering our digital team to optimize performance, manage risk, and ensure adherence to governance and compliance standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Champion a collaborative culture through effective stakeholder engagement with data owners, stewards, and custodians.
  • Develop and maintain an effective enterprise-wide Data Governance Framework and establish operational processes.
  • Implement escalation and approval pathways for sensitive and AI-generated data.
  • Enable the use of Data Governance Framework platforms and tools, integrating governance requirements into new and existing services.
  • Develop training programs embedding the Data Governance Framework to improve data quality and secure handling.
  • Establish regular reports highlighting key trends and insights on Data Governance.
  • Promote thought leadership championing data-driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 8+ years' experience in Data Governance across Digital and Technology in large complex organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Data Governance Frameworks, metadata, data quality, critical data elements, master and reference data, ethical data, responsible AI, and data classification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Digital and Technology Data Legal/Regulatory, Governance, Risk, and Compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience implementing Data Governance processes, systems, or tools requiring collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups.
