Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer service-focused individual to fill the role of Administrative Clerk. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our operations.

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about retail and has excellent communication skills. You will work closely with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service through active listening, empathy, and clear communication.
  • Support sales floor activities, including merchandise handling, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising.
  • Assist with cash handling, including processing transactions, operating the EFTPOS machine, and reconciling takings.
  • Liaise with suppliers, creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders to manage orders, invoices, and payments.
  • Prioritize workload and meet deadlines while working effectively under minimal supervision.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A high level of organisation, time management, and computer literacy.
  • Sound knowledge of Excel and Word, with experience in filing, creditors, debtors, banking, reconciling, and general Adhoc tasks.
  • The ability to work flexibly across retail trading hours, including weekends, public holidays, and late night trades.
