Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating manual and CNC machinery, including guillotines, folders, rollers, and brake presses. They will also possess strong skills in MIG and TIG welding across a variety of metals and thicknesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components to precise specifications.
- Operate CNC and manual machinery for cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure high-quality fabrication outcomes.
- Assist in prototype development and custom fabrication projects.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and other tradespeople to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent trade qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, including welding and machine operation.
- Proven skills in MIG and TIG welding across a variety of metals and thicknesses.
- Competency in operating manual and CNC machinery used for sheet metal processing.
