Key Responsibilities
  • Guide and oversee the Desktop Home Assessing Team in virtual assessments of impacted properties, cost validation, and end-to-end management of claims.
  • Organize ongoing training and coaching to ensure team members are consistent and effective in their approach.
  • Develop and implement cost control strategies to achieve planned cost outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs to ensure productivity and quality metrics meet expectations.
Requirements
  • Experience managing a team in a call centre background is essential.
  • Experience in home assessing and/or the building industry is desirable.
  • Previous insurance and/or estimating experience is desirable.
  • Construction trade qualifications or working in a similar position is essential.
  • Strong People Leadership skills, including development of people through guidance and support, performance management, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Effective Cost Control and Relationship Management skills.
  • Performance and Progress reporting experience.
