About the Role

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our client's Claims team in Melbourne. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and overseeing the Desktop Home Assessing Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Desktop Home Assessing Team, ensuring they are consistent and effective in their approach to virtual assessments and validation of scopes of works.
  • Organize ongoing training and coaching to the team, focusing on cost control, relationship management, and performance reporting.
  • Develop and implement cost control strategies, identifying areas of improvement and delivering planned cost outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Track, monitor, and report on KPIs to ensure productivity and quality metrics meet expectations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing a team in a call centre background, with a strong focus on people leadership and development.
  • Desirable experience in home assessing, the building industry, insurance, and/or estimating.
  • Construction trade qualifications or working in a similar position is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills, including performance managing, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Effective cost control, relationship management, and performance reporting experience.
