Job Title: Assessment Team Leader

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Assessment Team Leader to join our client's Claims team in Melbourne.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for guiding and overseeing the Desktop Home Assessing Team, ensuring they are consistent and effective in their approach to virtual assessments and validation of scopes of works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize ongoing training and coaching to the team
  • Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
  • Develop and implement cost control strategies to optimize team performance
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on team performance, ensuring productivity and quality metrics meet expectations

Requirements:

  • Experience managing a team in a call centre background
  • Experience in home assessing and/or the building industry
  • Previous insurance and/or estimating experience
  • Construction trade qualifications or working in a similar position
  • Strong People Leadership skills, including development of people through guidance and support, performance managing, coaching, and mentoring
  • Effective Cost Control and Relationship Management skills
