Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Tangentyere Council Aboriginal Corporation.

Company Overview

Tangentyere Council Aboriginal Corporation is a community-controlled Public Benevolent Institution delivering human services and social enterprise activities for the benefit of Aboriginal people from Central Australia.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive an attractive base salary and excellent benefits package, including a fully maintained company vehicle, full PBI salary sacrifice options, and relocation assistance may be negotiated in line with their skills and experience.

A competitive annual salary of approximately $150,000 - $180,000, depending on experience, is also offered.

Job Description

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for managing the financial affairs and the development and implementation of financial strategies, policies, and plans to ensure the continuing financial health of the Tangentyere Group and affiliated entities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • a thorough knowledge of corporate and government financial systems and relationships;
  • superior management and organisational skills;
  • a proven track record reporting into Boards and Government Bodies;
  • a current CA or CPA qualification;
  • high-level financial literacy with the ability to prepare and interpret financial reports and manage budgets;
  • experience in all aspects of organisational Financial Management;
  • highly developed analytical skills and knowledge of business processes, systems, and products.
Location and Relocation

This is a residential position living and working in Alice Springs, Central Australia. Relocation assistance will be available for the successful candidate, where applicable.
