Data Architect and Engineer Opportunity

The main objective of this role is to design, build, and maintain data pipelines that deliver technical functionality across the Global Data Platform and existing warehouse platforms.

  • Create and implement optimal data pipeline architecture for efficient data processing.
  • Identify and design process improvements: automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, redesign infrastructure for greater scalability.
  • Build the infrastructure and data products required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including Executive, Product, and Data teams to address data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
  • Maintain internal data security and integrity across national boundaries through well-architected sensitive data patterns and later enhancements to include regions in Azure.
  • Design, develop, and implement informative visualizations that enable business decision-making.
  • Work with data and analytics experts to enhance functionality in data systems.

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in the data space as a developer.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • SUCCESSFUL ENGAGEMENT WITH BUSINESS STAKEHOLDERS FOR REQUIREMENTS, FEEDBACK, AND ADVISORY.
  • Hands-on experience using:
    • Azure Data Factory
    • Azure Data Lake
    • Azure Databricks
    • Python/PySpark Notebooks
  • SQL, working with relational databases, query authoring, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing methodologies.
  • Creating and supporting reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Experience ingesting data from various sources, including APIs.
  • Coding languages: Python, PowerShell.
  • Microsoft BI tools: SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
  • Creating automations using Power Automate.
  • Experience with version and source control (Github) and Azure DevOps.
