Global Data Science Architect Role

Career Area: Engineering, Job Description:

This is a highly skilled technical position that will shape the future of our company. The role requires expertise in data science and architecture to drive innovation and improve internal tooling velocity.

The Global Data Science Architect will serve as the technical lead for data science architecture across various programs, working closely with other teams to ensure that traditional AI and GenAI capabilities are designed to accelerate product innovation.

  • Architect and oversee Traditional AI and Governed AI solutions across different domains.

  • Collaborate with team members to translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready architectures.

  • Define and maintain architectural standards for model delivery, documentation, and deployment.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

  • Support Epic Grooming and Front Door processes.

Key Responsibilities:

The role requires strong technical skills and leadership abilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and deploying Traditional AI and Generative AI solutions at scale in production environments.

  • Understanding data governance, model lifecycle management, and enterprise integration.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including tech BAs, product managers, and solution architects.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Required Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 10+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or architecture roles, with at least 3 years in a global or enterprise architect capacity.

  • Proven experience designing and deploying Traditional AI and Generative AI solutions at scale in production environments.

  • Strong understanding of data governance, model lifecycle management, and enterprise integration.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including tech BAs, product managers, and solution architects.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
