Role Overview:

Operating a concrete mixer truck for Hanson involves more than just transportation. Our drivers deliver exceptional customer service to clients receiving our products, representing our brand. As a Concrete Mixer Operator, you will make numerous deliveries throughout the day, engaging with various individuals. Each day presents unique challenges, ensuring that no two days are alike in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Competitive pay rates, including penalties for extended hours (increased rates after 8 and 10 hours, with further increases after 12 months).
  • Shifts typically commence between 4 AM and 6 AM, with drivers working up to 10 hours daily, averaging 50 to 55 hours weekly. Weekend work is often available at overtime rates.
  • Base pay structure with overtime compensation; the first two hours of overtime are paid at time and a half, with double time for additional hours.
  • As a driver, you will also serve as a customer service representative, interacting with diverse personalities daily.
  • We provide state-of-the-art technology to ensure your safety while driving, assist in route mapping, and track your loads.
  • New hires undergo a comprehensive 10-day training program before independent operation.

Candidate Profile:

  • A valid HR license is essential, with prior driving experience preferred.
  • A friendly demeanor and enjoyment in engaging with clients on-site.
  • A preference for variety in work; each day offers new experiences.

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing.
