About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Analyst to join our team at Kaizen Recruitment Pty. as a Product Development Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Product team on product development initiatives designed to meet the needs of investors and stakeholders.
  • Support the Product team throughout the end-to-end lifecycle of alternative products, including product management, maintenance, development, change management, and compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of product collateral, such as Due Diligence Questionnaires, Requests for Information, platform data requests, compliance statements, and other materials.
  • Conduct analysis and develop insights into peer/competitor products on an ad-hoc and ongoing basis to ensure the business remains competitively positioned.
  • Liaise with external parties such as trustees, administrators, custodians, investment partners, and other counterparties to ensure the successful implementation of new products and product changes.
  • Monitor and report on product competitiveness, trends, customer, and portfolio insights.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for relevant boards, committees, and management forums.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a professional services role (e.g., accounting, auditing, consulting), with a strong interest in transitioning to asset management, specifically alternative investments.
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow in the field of alternative investments, with a broad understanding of investing and the role of different asset classes within a portfolio.
  • Strong client service ethic, interpersonal communication, and written skills, with proven ability to work effectively with others.
  • A proactive self-starter with initiative, capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond quickly to issues and proactively seek process improvements and additional responsibilities.
  • A natural curiosity to explore innovative ways to enhance current processes and procedures.
  • Capacity to think and act like a business owner.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power Point, and Word is required.
