Optimize Daily Operations for Peak Performance
A key role at our organization is to oversee daily operations and drive peak performance across all operating shifts. As the Production Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring optimal production performance by driving machine reliability and maximizing labor efficiency.
The ideal candidate will lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration. You will champion a safety-first culture that actively drives a culture of behavioral safety and preventative safety measures and activities. Additionally, you will ensure quality standards are achieved and customer expectations and requirements are met.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing manufacturing activities to achieve the most effective outcome in support of business objectives.
- Ensuring all standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP) are achieved.
- Collaborating with the quality assurance team to ensure production processes meet or exceed quality standards for all products.
- Performing minor machine changes and adjustments as required, and understanding the difference between sub-optimal and optimal line set-ups.
- Supporting the service teams, maintenance, and mold change to ensure production plans are met.
- Working with the maintenance team to support the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules to ensure improvements in machinery.
- Ensuring the optimization of labor allocation through efficient planning of work and ensuring the right skills are available to support daily production requirements.
- Actively driving the reliability of assets by ensuring equipment is running at optimal performance.
