Key Store Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate store manager to join our team in a remote Australian community.
This is an exciting opportunity to work independently, share your retail expertise, and collaborate closely with the local community while exploring some of Australia's most isolated locations.
You will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of the local community while upholding the store's commercial performance and reputation.
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, stock control, merchandising, and staff supervision
- Provide effective leadership and mentoring to in-store teams, fostering a collaborative and culturally respectful environment
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards and company policies
- Maintain excellent store presentation and high levels of customer service
- Support with staff training initiatives
- Build positive relationships with community stakeholders and team members

Required Skills and Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
To thrive in this role, you'll need a blend of experience and passion, including:
- Supermarket Retail Expertise: A minimum of 3 years in retail or fast-moving consumer goods within a supermarket environment.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in mentoring, training, and leading diverse teams.
- Operational Knowledge: Competence in rostering, staff allocation, and budget management, including inventory and expense controls.
- Cultural Awareness: Ability to collaborate effectively across cultures.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Working Rights: Must prove unrestricted working rights within Australia.
