Job Summary:We are looking for veterinary nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients. As a Specialist & Emergency Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in our Specialist and Emergency hospitals across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing nursing care to patients, including holding animals for examination and treatment, cleaning and sterilizing examination tables and equipment, and preparing instruments for veterinarians.
- Assisting veterinarians in administering anaesthetics and oxygen during operations, placing animals in cages for recovery, and monitoring their condition.
- Providing animal care advice and preparing, delivering, and reviewing animal care education programs.
- Maintaining stock control and records, and performing diagnostic laboratory tests as required.
- Acting as a receptionist, accepting payments, and undertaking clerical work as needed.
