About Our Role

We are seeking a Provisional Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their wellbeing journey.


As a Provisional Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing holistic support to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance through assessments and interventions. You will also deliver vocational counselling and facilitate wellbeing programs, training, and upskilling.


Your primary goal will be to collaborate with individuals, employers, medical professionals, and other allied health professionals to provide comprehensive support and achieve optimal outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete return to work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme
  • Provide holistic support to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance through assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments and Vocational Assessments
  • Deliver Vocational Counselling and facilitate interventions, wellbeing programs, training and upskilling
  • Collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals

Requirements:
  • AHPRA registration as a Provisional Psychologist (4+2 and 5+1 pathways welcomed to apply) supported by a relevant qualification
  • Or ASORC registration as a Rehabilitation Counsellor (Full or Associate) supported by a relevant qualification
  • Current drivers' licence and access to own transport
  • Ability to obtain a Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
  • Full Australian Working Rights
