We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portable Fire Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service delivery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the safe installation and maintenance of portable fire equipment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality results and providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Servicing portable fire equipment on customer premises and recommending appropriate safety systems and equipment to meet specific Australian Standards.
- Auditing client locations, quoting and selling the full range of portable fire protection and safety systems, equipment, and services.
- Identifying, repairing and installing portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment to specified Australian Standards.
- Completing and providing evidence of maintenance performed on equipment using electronic maintenance records and industry documentation.
- Understanding and exceeding financial and tolerance-related targets and key performance indicators.
- Professional experience or qualifications specified by local classification structures.
- A sound knowledge of applicable Australian Standards relevant to portable fire protection equipment.
- A current (QLD) QBCC License, mandatory for the installation and maintenance of portable equipment.
- Competitive rates of pay.
