Job Opportunity

The Portable Service Technician role is a key position within our organization, requiring industry experience in fire protection, including servicing, maintaining and selling fire hose reels, fire extinguishers and related products.

This technical expert must have a strong understanding of Australian Standards and be able to obtain or already hold industry accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing portable fire equipment on customer premises and recommending portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment.
  • Auditing client locations, quoting and selling the full range of portable fire protection and safety systems, equipment and services.
  • Identifying, repairing and installing portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment to specific Australian Standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Professional experience or qualifications specified by any applicable local classification structure.
  • A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Portable Service fire protection equipment.
  • A current QLD QBCC License for Fire - Portables.
