Project Manager: Contract Administration Role

This position focuses on the management and compliance of client contracts throughout a project. It involves overseeing the start-up, procurement, delivery, and close-out phases while liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Manage and ensure adherence to client contracts throughout the project/s
  • Oversee project start-up, procurement, delivery, and project close out
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to clients
  • Manage subcontractors from onboarding to claim assessments
  • Monitor commissioning activities including documentation
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to procedures, policies, and contractual obligations
  • Maintain relevant registers that track and substantiate the projects commercial position

Key Skills:

  • Understanding of risks and opportunities associated with project contractual agreements
  • Working knowledge of project administration and control
  • Analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management or Project Management
  • Positive negotiation, conflict, and influencing skills
  • Written and oral communication skills with an ability to present information to various audiences
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
