Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Manager to lead our project design and scope from tender to practical completion.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects efficiently, ensuring timely completion, and meeting customer requirements with maximum profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain the Design Plan for the duration of the project.
  2. Collaborate with the design team to coordinate all elements of the design.
  3. Monitor design resource allocation and ensure its adequacy and effectiveness.
  4. Plan and conduct reviews, verifications, and validations, incorporating outcomes into the design.
  5. E nsure the design conforms to safety, environmental, construction, commissioning, and operating requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  2. Engineering degree in Electrical or Civil/Structural preferred.
  3. Prior experience managing large utilities projects will be highly regarded.
  4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  5. Able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
